How I Use the bundleIQ Chrome Extension to Get Smarter
There is no such thing as self-made humans in this world. There never has been and never will be. We are designed to survive as a society, as a tribe. Working together is our human super-power. It’s our ability to band together as a group, and solve problems that separates us from all other species on earth.
We are influenced by our genetics, our families, our friends, everything we see and hear and taste and touch. We are shaped by the books we read and the information we consume. These thoughts and influences are a type of real-world education.
These thoughts are our problem solving tools and are more powerful when they are connected.
It’s knowledge we can share, within our tribe, or the world, in the fashion we choose. We can contribute.
We are all thought explorers.
The world is filled with ideas and knowledge, and as I machete my way through the jungle of information, trying to find something that will make me smarter, I use the bundleIQ Chrome Extension.
Download the Chrome extension
Starting at the beginning — where else you going to start — you will need to download the extension. Just go to the Chrome store, type bundleIQ in the search bar, hit enter, and select bundleIQ. The 5-star extension will pop up.
Click the ‘Add to Chrome’ button.
bundleIQ will take you to your bundleIQ account once you’ve installed the extension.
If you have any issues you can watch the simple instructional video on the page. It’s simple.
Adding a quick note
Once you have the extension installed, you will see the icon on your web pages as you view different websites. You can move the icon around anywhere on the page that is convenient. Hover over the icon and you will see a menu of tasks. Click on the ‘Quick Note’.
You will then be prompted to select a workspace and a bundle. You can then add in a quick title for your note and then type the note. bundleIQ will save your note in the designated bundle and connect it to all of your other data witha source link back to the web page.
You’ve just added a little bit of knowledge to you account and into that big brain of yours.
Save Web Page
Don’t have the time to read every interesting website that pops up? And really, who does? Then, hover over the icon and click on ‘Save Web page’. Pick your workspace and bundle and the page will be saved into your notes and automatically connected to your data.
It’s down and dirty knowledge collection. You don’t even need to go back and read it to benefit from saving the page. bundleIQ will surface it as a relevant note while you are working on other topics.
The power is in the useful connections.
Summarize
Our summary feature is quick and effective. Hover over the icon, click on ‘Summarize’ and bundleIQ will summarize the web page. It can then be added as a note and connected to all you data. Just click save.
Ask ALANI
ALANI is our conversational AI-powered chatbot. What is unique with ALANI is that you can point it and query ALANI at the data of your choice. Hover over the icon and click ‘Ask Alani’.
ALANI will be pointed at your own personal data when you first click. You just selct your workspace and bundle you wish to query and hit next. Then you can ask whatever question you want.
If you wish to query the specific webpage you are viewing toggle the switch at the bottom of the menu page to ‘Chat With Web Page’. Now you can ask any question about the web page and ALANI will review it and give you an answer.
Again, this is a quick way to digest the knowledge with a web page without reading it. And of course it can be saved to your bundle as a note and connected to all of your other saved data.
