I recently pre-recorded my talk for an event called The Virtual Business Summit hosted by Melissa Smith of The PVA and author of “Hire the Right Virtual Assistant and Become a Successful Virtual Assistant.” Melissa and I crossed paths by way of a Slack group comprised of members from a co-living organization that we are a part of called Outsite (more on Outsite + co-living another time).

To that end, co-living and co-working have become cornerstones in the world of virtual work/life. According to a Gallup study, 43% of Americans said they spent time working remotely in 2018 — which probably comes as no surprise to those reading this article. We are all very much aware that the state of work has markedly changed as well as all the ways being remote has impacted our workflows. Furthermore, progress isn’t static, so, how do we continue to optimize our efforts as we collectively move towards creating value in this world?
