Generative AI is something that has scared creators. They were concerned that some paint-by-numbers style of program would crank out stories, and images, and movies. They were afraid they were going to be replaced.
It was an apocalyptic vision for those in any creative field.
But a strange thing has happened.
Many creators have embraced AI and used it’s capabilities to enhance their work. Yes, that’s right. It doesn’t replace, it enhances.
Sure, there has been tons of crappy content pushed out into the marketplace meant to manipulate. Yes, even more crap by creators that don’t have the capabilities to create on their own. And, yes, most of it sucks.
But for those that have taken the time to learn AI, AI tools, and combined it with the art of story-telling, magic is beginning to appear.
